The sequence, step by step (calm version)
1. You invite her to your Family plan
Using her AOL email.
2. She accepts the invitation

3. Microsoft checks her AOL email
Most likely it will say:
“Create a Microsoft account.”
Because her Lenovo was tied to your account, not hers.
